4th(?) Scavenger Hunt Results

'Aye we be huntin' for Scavengers

The scavenger hunt that Rox and Will organized was a huge success! Things were done a little differently then posted but it was reasonable. The idea of having different teams start at different points was proven difficult and was changed so everyone started on the clues. Instead of the "start at different clues" idea Rox and Will opted for, "Your team number is the channel you hunt on" approach. Except team one hunted on channel ten.

Don't worry about the change of plans guys, I don't that anyone else realized that you would need about 7 computers on at the same time because of all the different stations. Haha XD


The teams (if I recall correctly) were;
-Group 1: Chrys and Myles (Chrys' friend joined us)
-Group 2: Angie and Avis
-Group 3: Elly and Jo/Angel I think...
-Group 4: Me, Ada and Danni (Danni also joined us)
-Group 5: Ili and Ambrose (they were either group 5 or group 3 >_<) If I forgot anyone...SORRY! The clues that were used are as follow;

• I am twinkling upon you as hope in the dark. Bring me 10 of these and I shall let you pass to the next step. (10 Stars dropped by star pixies)
• You should come party with me in the clouds. (OPQ area)

• It can either be full or absent. It can be only a crescent too. Can you show me 5 of these? (10 Moons dropped by lunar pixies)
• It is freezing here, thats why I am drinking some red bean soup, you should come purchase some. (El Nath potion store)

I think alot of people mistook this one for an item clue. You didn't need to get the soup, it was just hinting you to the pot shop.

• My cat and Moppy would just LOVEEE to eat 9 of these! (9 Jr Pepe Fish)
• I am preparing my mind at the temple, thats where you can find me. (Mu Lung temple)

I swear Will used a "do not appear on mini map" hack! We spent 5 minutes trying to find him because I didn't see the red dot on the map...gao...

• A broken horn fell on Santa's night, only 2 of these should be enough. (2 Broken reindeer horns)
• From 50 to 10 you should arrive at my age. (10-Year-Old-Herb-Garden)

• Practice is needed to be strong. You shall prove this to me, bring me 10 of these. (Straw dolls from Straw target dummies)
• I am with my friend Oannes... (Aqua Road Grocer)

Hahahaha my doll collection was really handy! Yeah it doesn't just use up space guys!

• It would sure help me to see and breathe under water, 3 of them would be needed. (3 Snorkels dropped by Scuba pepes)
• If you need a book, you should come here. (Library at the bottom of Helios Tower)

I am glad I am not the only one who thought that we needed Bubbles >_<

• If I plant it, the growing plant shall point to the sun. (Sunflower seed dropped by Retz)
• It is CF's birthday here! (Guild making place in Orbis)

Now they may seem easy because the answers are right there, but some of us did have trouble on some of the more vague ones. At the 4th clue ("From 50 to 10 you shall arrive at my age"), some of us had a little trouble. Now my group were going around to the 60 year old garden, 40 year old garden, etc. We figured that Will WASN'T 10 years old. Heck, I'm not 10, neither was Ada or Danni. I don't think ANYONE is 10. We then realized that it meant mental age, silly me!

Anyway Chrys and Myles ran into a little trouble. Instead of heading to the Herb Town gardens they went to Ludi. And started descending Eos tower. Yeah, Eos tower...

Apart from a few mishaps I am sure everyone had a good time! Congratulations to Elly and Jo on winning first prize. Also I would like to congratulate Will and Rox on a well planned scavenger hunt! Thank you for taking the time to organize this event! I would also like to say thank you to Will again for donating the prize money!

I took some pictures of us just before the last team came but I can't figure out how to put them into the post the way Ade does it, so I'll slot em in after I come back.
