if caught by anyone, you'll be reported & your account will be banned
2) No Spamming
Guild Chat is a time to draw the relationship between members closer
it's not a fish market where you can do whatever you like
i.e: spamming your stuffs on sale
3) Be Polite
when you need something, ask in a polite way
in this way, people might attend to your needs
rather than just ignoring you
4) Be Professional
do not act noobish
do not ask people to find you this item and that item do not ask for mesos and stuffs
but you can let us know what you're looking for
5) No Leeching, No Looting
If you're in party and going afk, notify ur party members
If you want to loot, always ask them if it's okay to loot
Respect whatever they say to you
6) Defame System
Do not misuse our guild name by threatening others with it.
Example: "Stop Ksing me! I'll get my guild to mass defame you!"
Mass Defames NOT Approved when..
1) One random person defame you for no reason
2) people scammed you
3) people ksed you

7) Probation
we will be looking at your performance and your attitude once you joined this guild
failure to cooperate, participate in conversations and guild activities = expel
this probation will last ONE month
however, if anyone is found abusing this system to get out of the guild,
penalty equivalent to that for leaving the guild for no valid reason would be carried out against him/her.
decisions will be made based on our discretion.

I'm very disappointed to catch a guild member hacking.. It is written in the rules that Vac Hacking is strictly forbidden.. and there will be no warnings.. Once caught, you'll be reported immediately. No chances will be given no matter how close you are to me or to us..
Everyone trains by the hard way.. everyone gains respect and honour from one another.. by hacking.. you not only dishonour the guild.. you also dishonour yourself.
We are particularly strict on this.. everyone detests hackers a lot.. I don't understand why does it have to be you. Everyone is eager to level up.. Even I, myself, is eager to get to level 70.. But I train hard just like everyone else..
Like I said, there is no 2nd chance.. I would urge you to stop hacking now before other guild mates or other players catch you hacking. the Game Masters in Maplestory will not ban someone based on first screenshot sent to them.. but they will ban the person if many people have caught him/her hacking, and lots of screenshots as evidence.
I hope this message gets to you before others catch you hacking.. So.. please stop now before your character gets banned.

Elitegangzta has fully served his penalty yesterday in FM.. he finally cooperated with us by meeting us in FM to defame him.. so as to save us the trouble for always tracking him and chasing after him.. in addition to that, he also admitted his mistakes and even apologized.. therefore, the penalty was reduced from 30 defames to 20 defames.. at present day today, his record of fames is -6 We thank everyone for their cooperation and their time to defame him.. also, we thank his friends for passing the message (to cooperate with us) to him..

we have set up a new forum for our guild.. feel free to post any questions, suggestions, comments, thoughts, topics, or discussion.. but i would urge everyone to keep the forum NEAT and organized. please try to avoid using ALL CAPS for the topic title too..

Elaborated Criteria for Promotion -important message to everyone-
to be a Senior, you have to.. - be at least level 41 - follow all the rules and set as a good example to the rest - participation in guild activities must be high - attendence must be frequent [but sch/exams are exceptionals] - able to take charge of the guild when guild master, jr master and directors are not present - be communicative with all your guild mates
to be a Director, you have to.. - to be at least level 51 - follow all the rules and set as a good role-model to the rest - participation in guild must be regular and high - attendence must be frequent [but sch/exams are exceptionals] - assume any roles given by master or jr master - able to lead the seniors and assign roles to them when guild master and jr master are not present - maintain good relationships with the rest of your guild mates - keep track of each member's performance - give opinions when it comes to promotion or other guild matters
*Demotion* - failure to maintain all criteria will result in a demotion unless a vaild reason is given for your irregular attendence, poor performance and rules-breaking attitude

New Rules and Regulations
to be more precise, we will go through each and every rule that we have stated on the guild website.. in addition, we are going to add a few more rules.. this helps to clarify some matters and not complicate it.. also.. we are trying to improve our guild as time goes by.. a good guild is not only made up of the master and jr master's efforts.. it's everyone's contribution.. so we hope to get your cooperation in this area..
1) No Hacking this is very straightforward.. No Hacking means No using of Vac Hack and God Mode.. If you're caught using Vac Hack especially, there is no 2nd chance. You will be reported. Using Vac Hack to level up is very unfair to other people.. we train by the hard way.. we earn our respect and honour.. this is what i want to see from everyone..
2) No Spamming Do not spam chat lines in the guild chats.. if you want to ask a question, ask once.. if people did not reply you, then ask again.. do not spam 3 times in a row.. this is to prevent people from getting annoyed.. or missing some messages previously..
3) Be Polite Part A I have to emphasize that vulgarities are strictly forbidded it's alright to type in abbrev like "omfg, wtf" but try not to use words like "fcking, fcken, fck u and etc" and also "stfu" towards ur guild mates.. it's rude.. we have to put into consideration that there are still kids in our guild.. and it's important that they don't learn the bad things from us.. so.. please watch your language.. and minimize the vulgarity usage..
Part B if you need something.. ask in an appropriate way.. meaning.. ask in a polite manner.. we do not answer people who spam chats/qns.. we do not answer people who are rude.. here's two examples.. note the differences..
First example: "can u get me 100 cursed dolls????????" and "is it okay if u get me 100 cursed dolls?"
Second example: "get me 100 cursed dolls plzzzzz?????" and "would u mind getting me 100 cursed dolls please? it's okay if you're busy now"
you guys are smart people.. im sure you can tell the differences.. if you can't, either the master or jr master will give you private lessons about manners.. free of charge.. don't worry..
always ask if they are free to help you.. or if it's convenient.. do not demand them to help you when they are busy or when they are in another island far from yours. main point: Be Considerate!
4) Be Professional it is written very clearly.. short and sweet.. "do not ask for mesos and stuffs" do i have to elaborate on this?
you may let us know what you are looking for or what you're trying to buy or find.. so then.. we can check it out for u if we're in fm.. or if it happens that we found the item you're looking for.. we can inform u.. however.. whether it will be given to you as free or sold at an original or cheaper price.. it is up to the individual.. if you want to borrow mesos, make sure you return it.. unless you're told that you can keep the mesos. the timeline to return the mesos you borrowed is 1 week.. NO more than 1 week.. there will be no punishment if u return the mesos late, but you will carry a bad record.. meaning.. in future, if u want to borrow mesos again, chances of people lending u the mesos are like 0% because of your bad record..
i hope i have made this clear. should there be any objections or protest.. voice it out..

The New Rules
5) No Leeching, No Looting when you're in party with your guild mates, everyone of you share the same responsibility.. it will be unfair if someone does the killing and the other just afk.. it will also be unfair if someone does the killing and the other just loots everything.. you have to understand.. when people kill the monsters.. they use their pots to heal and increase MP.. where do their pots come from? they have to buy it from npc.. you think it's free for them?
come on guys, please be more considerate to your OWN guild mates.. if you will be afk, let your party members know and see if they are okay with you leeching for a few minutes.. otherwise, either you go to cash shop while you're afk or leave the party
as for looting.. you can only loot if you're told to do so or allowed to.. otherwise, do not loot the mesos or items that belongs to other people.. i know that you guys are in need of mesos to buy equips or other stuffs.. but you're not the only one.. everyone needs mesos.. but still.. be considerate to others.. greediness will not do any good to you.. but only dishonour urself..
if u want people to respect you.. think twice before you do any leeching or looting
6) Defame System I do not wish people to abuse or take advantage of the Defame System so I will set out the rules as to WHEN you can ask us to mass defame someone.. and when the mass defames will not be approved
Defame System is Approved when: - you get mass defamed or reported when you have not done anything wrong (meaning.. you're accused of something which you did not do..)
- you are being verbally assaulted or scolded and then defamed for no reasons
Defame System is Disapproved when: - 1 random person defames you for no reason.. because you can defame the person back urself (u can get one guild mate to defame the person back for u only if you have used ur fame that day)
- people scammed you (scamming is a problem in ms and everyone knows that. if u get scammed, this is your own problem. you get scammed once, you learn ur mistake and remember it for life)
- people ksed you (ksing is a big problem in ms. you do not get your guild mates to mass defame someone who ks.. but u can get your guild mates to ks him/her back for you)

I do not wish people to misuse our name "ColdFusion" when you threaten someone by saying.. "stop ksing or I'll get my guild to mass defame you!" you are not only putting yourself down lowly, but you are also putting our reputation down.. people remember who you are and which guild you are from.. and if they happen to see other guild mates.. they might scold them or defame them for no reasons just because of what you have done.. by misusing our name and abuse the defame system..
You are in this guild, but you are not the only one in this guild there are other guilds mates that you have to be considerate to.. it is a disgrace if such a thing happens.. it does not mean you're GREAT just because you are in a guild.. it does not mean you can order your guild mates to mass defame someone just because you are in a guild..
This guild is not for you to take advantage of.. it's not for you to take revenge back on people.. the people in our guild are REAL LIFE PEOPLE with feelings.. they are not fake people, you know? so before you take any actions or say anything.. please consider how others will feel.

this following rule will not affect the current members in our guild.. it will be effective for future new members
7) Probation once you're in this guild, you're on one month probation. we will look at your performance and how communicative you are.. by the end of one month, if you do not prove your worthiness.. you will be kicked out of the guild automatically.. however, if anyone is thinking of using this technique to get out of the guild, we would advise you to think again. it is up to our discretion whether you are really not suitable to be in our guild, or, if you are just taking advantage of this system. if we find out/decide that anyone is abusing this system, he/she will be kicked out AND penalised. the penalty will be the same as the penalty for leaving the guild without valid reason.

Simple Steps to take a Screenshot & Do a Comics Strip
Some people might need some help in making a comic strip i don't really know how you wanna do it.. but there are 2 programs which i would use.. "Paint" and "Powerpoint"
Some of you might not know how to take a screenshot, or.. might not know where to look for your screenshot.. so.. here's some brief steps to find your screenshot... if you do not know how to take a screenshot.. simply just press Scroll Lock..
here is a 2-D keyboard.. first of all, if you want to take screenshot, press "Scroll Lock" on your keyboard
to find the screenshot you just took, go to My Computer
go to C Drive
click on Program Files
find Wizet and click Maplestory folder. your screenshot is saved in there

Now, if you want to edit your screenshot.. or cut out particular part that you need.. do the following steps...
right click on the screenshot and open with "Paint"
to cut, use the following icon that is circled in red
open your Powerpoint program..
right click and paste it in PowerPoint
to insert title, click the icon circled in red. it says "Insert WordArt". You may then choose the design or font of your heading
to insert text in your picture, click "text box", the one circled in red and place your cursor to the part where you wanna insert your text
to save your work..
save it under JPEG File Interchange Format

we encourage everyone to participate.. we are aware that school have started for almost everyone.. and some are having their trial exams until sept 15th.. that's why this event will last for a month instead of 2 weeks.
for this event, what you're required to do is.. make a comics strip of any choices like.. adventurous, comedy, cool, scary or anything unique u can think of.
last day to submit your comic strip to guild email is Sept 30th, 2006 below is a sample of a comic strip done by someone.. it doesn't have to be exactly like hers.. but as long as it's neat and we understand.. it's good enough..
you can either do it individually or do it in pairs or groups.. if you're doing it in pairs or groups, the prize will be split evenly among your partner or group mates
