Papulatus Party-Run

Ili, Angie and I went for pap party a few days back
we went there in a 6-members team..
it's actually my 2nd time participating in pap party
and it's Ili and Angie's 1st time..

Pap is a little like Ergoth but it's easier because Pap has no bodyguards..
however, he has 23 million HP
which took us pretty long to eliminate it.

These were the other members we went with:
lZidaNeDK
12thMage
GabRiELxD12

Ili died early at the beginning because Pap dispelled our skills
her Magic Guard was turned off when Pap's body touched her..
(really bad to have low hp, really)
but i hope it was a good experience for her..
we will try again soon..

During the battle..

Finally, Pap's 1st body is dying soon
but there's 2nd body to kill..
Angie did really well in her 1st Pap Run
she managed to kill the 1st body with us..
During my 1st pap run,
I did not go so far because I accidentally hit the bomb and it exploded on me..
it's instant death when it explodes

So, I must say I was really impressed with Angie
I feel proud of her
Same goes to Ili
she's a mage so it's harder for her to survive because of low HP
even the other priest died too because of lag..

Angie died at the beginning of 2nd pap body because it does 5k damage to warriors
she did not pay attention to the damage and died

Though their 1st Run wasn't successful
it's the experience that counts
I hope their 2nd Pap-run will be successful

It was a good run

there wasn't any good drops
only mesos, pots and equips..
but the Quest is completed
So I'm really looking for 2nd round..
and we really need a DK in our guild for their Roar and HB for boss fights..

is it just me.. or others feel the same too
that spear DKs are proud and arrogant? O_O

To go paping with my own guildmates one day
I am hoping to bring Avis, Ken, Ili, Angie and Blake in the Next Round.

Guild Party Quest

it had a last minute gpq last week
it was pretty good from stage 1 to stage 4..
but it went pretty bad during boss stage
even though we managed to kill Ergoth with only 6 minutes remaining..
Will died 12 times, Chrys died XX times, Ili died XXX times, Bobby died XX times
and I died XX times too
Ergoth was just too hard that night..

End: 5th Promotion Event

yesterday,
we held two promotion events
and both turned out really successful
i would say this is one of the best and most cooperative event out of all

in the morning,
we promoted Dennis (braveheart28) and Eddie (HolyWhite200) to Seniors
we promoted Dennis is because of his good heart
be it in guild or outside,
he's always very helpful
in recognition of his helpfulness and caringness,
we decided that he deserves a promotion in our guild..
we don't see him often is because he lives in Europe (different time zone)
but i hope everyone (esp the new guildmates) will get a chance to meet him
~Congratulations on getting Seniorship~

we promoted Eddie in recognition of his loyalty to our guild
he's one of the pioneers in our guild
we created this guild together using his i/l wizard
he was supposed to get his promotion 8 months ago
but he disappeared for many months
he's a very inactive member..
so it's hard for people to know who he is..
but anyway Eddie,
pls come on more often.

Main Promotion Event

at night,
we held our 2nd promotion event
and it turned out what i expected..
im very pleased.

in this main event,
our Ex-Jr Master attended this event
because we have chosen someone to resume the place of our Ex-Jr Master
so she's here to congratulate the person personally.

Firstly,
there were a few people getting promotions but they failed to turn up
therefore,
their promotions will be postponded till the next event.


Avis got promoted to Director
in recognition of his loyalty, activeness and friendliness in our guild
he's very approachable and we see him everyday
so if anyone needs help,
he will be there to guide you guys when Jr Master and I are not around..

First Jr Master Chosen

other than Cyn being our pioneer Jr Master
another member has been chosen by us
to take the Jr Master Position

ili (ihlhi) was given the position of a Jr Master yesterday
during the past month,
i've been collecting votes and opinions on who's the most suitable for Jr Master's Position
most votes went to ili
they commented that ili is very friendly, approachable, dependable, and trustworthy..

not only that,
ili has always been one of those who helps me and supports me behind my back
she is responsible
she keeps herself updated with what's going on in the guild by checking the guild website and guild forum daily
that's one of the criteria i look for in a Jr Master

at first,
I disapproved on ili being the Jr Master
because I am looking for someone who has a quality of being a strict leader when necessary
being too nice,
people can take advantage of her
or give her the least respect..

Being nice is one thing,
being strict is another thing
to be a good leader,
you need to be firm when you decide on something
the strictness gotta be there..

Meantime,
I'm going to polish her strictness in the guild
and make her as evil as me..

Failure to meet my expectation of a Jr Master
will result in demotion
and the chance will be given to someone else.

Yesterday,
Three people joined our guild
One of them is Chrys guildmate, Will (ign: L33tStAlKeR, level 76 Chief Bandit)
the other is our Ex-guildmate Eric (ign: iNoobletl, level 30 Assassin)
and the last one is someone we met when we were having guild training at FoG
Red (ign: lilbandit98, level 69 Bandit)

Eric was expelled in the guild because of his inactiveness
and he was playing another character
his performance in the guild has always been good.
he doesn't create troubles for us and therefore I took him back in

Red's admission to the guild was handled by ili
our impression (ada, chrys, ili and i) of him is good
therefore, i approved him to be part of us..

New ColdFusion Guildmate


Falkeauge (level 79 Sniper) just joined us today
I knew his existence eversince he sent SS of hackers to our guild email
he's one of those who kept supporting us
and sent us SS more regularly than other senders
he's interested in our guild because of our vision and purpose
however,
im afraid that time difference might be a little problem since most guildmates are from PST zone.
while he's on the EST zone.
he's from The Philippines
it takes time to get to know each other
it takes time to build friendships

their birthday is our lucky day
because it's when Zipangu town came out.

technically,
Zipangu came out on June 13th..
BUT
it had many problems and MapleStory crashed for many hours..
i guess Zipangu is meant to be released on June 14th, not 13th..
what a wonderful birthday gift that MapleStory has given you..
lots of new items in cash shop too!

Results from Mother's Day Event

Obviously,
I gave an extension to the groups who did not manage to complete their event..
however,
minimal appreciation was returned
conflicts in the groups as usual
failure to cooperate
impatience and unorganized

Too much time has been given
and it is definitely very unfair to the group who has finished on time.
the due date was on May 13th, 2007
only one group submitted their video clip

I'm still looking forward to the clips from other 2 groups even though the event has officially ended

JR MASTER

I will be choosing ONE out of all of you to be Jr Master in July 2007
On July 12th, 2007
It will be 1 year anniversary for ColdFusion Guild

Eversince Cyn left in March,
no one has ever succeeded in taking her place as Jr Master
Jr Master post has been vacant for 3 months
I do need a potential leader to help me lead and guide the guild

I will be choosing a Jr Master by votes
Final votes lies with Cyn and I

Criteria for Jr Master
1) Has to be very active in-game (Everyday except exam period) OR available when needed (if u're not in-game, then msn or forums unless it's ur school/sleeping time)
2) Has to fulfill all primary requirements of promotion criteria
3) Has to check guild website and forum frequently
4) Has to be mature, strict, capable and responsible in handling guild issues
5) Most importantly, he/she has to be able to work with the Guild Master, Director, Seniors and Juniors.

New Members of ColdFusion

Yesterday,
Five new members have joined us
Four of which are Chrys' guildmates from JoyOfPepsi
We have discussed and made an arrangement to transfer seven of his guildmates to our guild
The ones who have joined yesterday are KimaniTheBow, XxYasuxX, Dolcetto and Kadaj444
Three of them have yet to joined (l33tstalker, earthgypsi and katalynnia)

We met Funkstyler through our training
He's formerly from Reborn Guild and has left for a reason
I know how we usually think of high level people who joins the guild
like..
they don't stay for long because they are always looking for a pro guild to join
It may or may not be the same for Funkstyler (a.k.a Blake)
But time will tell

All new names of guildmates will be updated in the Guild Forum which can be accessed under "Guild Links" found on the left side of this website

Valdorn's Issue

I have thought about it the whole night
the whole guild deserves to know what has happened
I am gonna be harsh on this because I realized that being too nice,
people do take advantage of me.

Last night,
Mark was caught hacking off-map with his friend DawnCB
Angie and Avis saw him hacked before he logged off immediately.
I went to find Mark but my presence was ignored
and hostility was shown to me after I said "huge disappointment" to him

I know his intentions are good when he left the guild to hack
because he do not want to drag anyone of us down
or get caught hacking while he's in our guild
however,
insults/swearing to me and his guildmate are unaccepetable

I might take back what I said because technically..
he DID hack from level 84 to level 86 WHILE he was still in our guild
he left guild probably because Avis noticed that he leveled twice in 24 hours..
and so he left guild because he didn't want them to track him
or know that he is leveling unusally fast
also, Ili reminded me about how he said he doesn't train
If he doesn't train, how can he level?
a few days back,
he mentioned in guild about Valdorn not on rankings anymore because he was hacked by a friend
the truth, i believe, was..
he hacks on Valdorn himself
no one hacked him.

Recalling about the time he told us that his character was deleted by his friend
it was all a lie.. all a make-up story, isn't it?

You got banned for hacking and u created a story to cover it up
and pretended to be a legit
you tried to get all our sympathy to prove ur innocence
and you even approached me silently to tell me about this..
and used me to cover up the truth
you betrayed my trust, used me, lied to me and even insulted me

but now i see it,
there wasn't a friendship to begin with
you were just using me all along

I already suspected you since the day ur character was banned
but u were my friend..

and they have clearly told me where they stand
I made the decision to let everyone know what you did because of 4 reasons
1) You took advantage of the authority i hold in the guild and used me to assure everyone that u did not hack
2) You betrayed my trust and lied to me
3) You pretended to be a legit and cheated sympathy from everyone
4) You insulted me and your guildmate

A real friend will not do that to me
you make me realized that there wasn't a friendship to begin with

BUT
I did acknowledge that you apologized to me in the end
I did feel that this apology you said to me
was sincere

I do not know what you want me to do as of now
but you should know the guild rules about hacking
and I do know that you will never return to our guild
you won't even asked to return

We tried to understand your situation at that moment when you insulted me
maybe it was because there was a crowd
maybe because avis pissed you off before
maybe u met with some problems in real life
I came up with as many possibilities as I can to make myself believe that you had ur reasons
but Mark,
you're 18..
I expect you to be more mature in handling your problems
and not start swearing at me...
if i were ur friend.

if Avis had pissed you before that
I apologize to you on his behalf
but this is not an excuse for you to have reacted the way you did

Perhaps I should show you what other guildmates said about you in the forum
to let you know that you are very well-liked by some..

You chose to hack, it does not make you a bad person
I have a hacker friend, he is nice and I do not go round tracking him and get him banned
but what you did with the 4 reasons I mentioned above,
made me chose a harsher way to deal with you

I choose to forgive you because of the good moments we shared before
and I did see you as a friend even when I suspected you
I gave you my trust still
because I believed that you wouldn't betray me
I was wrong and I accept it
because it's my mistake too

Whether or not we're still friends,
I think we need a distance for now
Maybe you choose not to be friends, who knows
whatever the decision will be,

i miss the annoying moments and silly jokes from him
he's not on for the longest time is because his internet is down
