Guild Glitch

I apologize if I made a mistake by claiming that you have left the guild..
i just noticed there's a slight problem in the guild list..

count the number of people who are offline..
it's only 20 and 2 members are online..
we have 24 members altogether..
can u spot who are missing?


When Valdorn came on,
the guild list seems normal and fine..
Im guessing this probably happens to new members

A Lesson To Learn

I never knew how kids nowadays can turn out..
until I play MS and got exposed to hundreds of kids
my definition of kids is..
the ones who portray immaturity regardless of age

Even though the younger age group in our guild ranges from 11 to 15..
they are all nice and decent people [fortunately]

what kind of kids (or even adults) do I dislike most?
not those who curse and swear
not those who ks or loot items
not those who ask for mesos or stuffs
not those who hacks and steal our channels

but those who refuse to admit they are wrong
and still got the cheek to insist that they are so right..
AND accuse that it's all our fault

I have played MS for 11 months+
and today I met the kind of person I dislike most
whether it's kids or adults..
accusation is never a good thing to feel..

This was what happened..

I placed a 35mil bid for an Atk+8 Work Gloves for 35 mil auto-win under Selling Auction
(ps: I have a habit of taking SS whenever I don't feel that I can trust the trader)
so obviously,
I won

to cut the story short,
I whispered him in-game about the auction
he insisted that he was Buying an Atk+8 Work Gloves and not Selling
I showed him the screenshot
and his reply was "I bought it. not sold. Final"
and left me a negative feedback saying I made a bad mistake..
1) he's impolite
2) he refused to admit that he made a mistake even after looking at the SS
3) he ignored me by disabling the whisper
4) left a negative feedback that was not true

I know that everyone makes mistakes
even I do too
but as long as they acknowledge where they went wrong
I would just call it off
but no..
he played ignorance or pretendence with me when I showed him the SS

Call me revengeful or petty
but I never like kids/people who are like that
it's fine if u don't want to admit u're wrong because u think it's embarrassing
but when u go too far in making accusations..
u're too much
I will do whatever it takes to make u serve the punishment u deserve

Looking at his number of fames..
it looks really nice..

when you know you are in the wrong,
jolly well admit it and apologize
it can save yourself from big big troubles..


if you're ashamed of yourself
and refuse to admit that you're in the wrong
then please don't go too far and make false statements
to accuse/frame the person
it's not nice


if the person has proof to show that u're in the wrong,
jolly well accept the fact and apologize..

if the proof is unclear and u think u're right,
then compromise with each other and be polite in whatever you say


bear these in mind
it's not just a kid's lesson..
it's a life-long lesson
u'll meet such people as u're growing up
how do u handle such people?
that's entirely up to u

Warmest Welcome our new Member

(level 78 Dragon Knight)

Valds is a ex-member of the first ColdFusion guild
He, together with TheStoryline created the first ColdFusion guild..
They disbanded after that and created Supremacy guild..
*Supremacy was around for quite some time before they disbanded it..
now Valds has joined us..
he's a great guy from UK..
entering 1st year of university soon..
we hope everyone will have a chance to meet him..
Jimmy and Avis have met him..
but not the rest..
He's someone whom you guys shouldn't missed!
who knows..
maybe girls in the guild will be attracted by his charming personality..
*attracted doesn't mean fall in love..
so you and your gf don't have to worry..

he has read all the rules
and fully understand the guild penalty for leaving as well
he has already chosen to pay for his penalty if he has to leave..
so i guess he will leave one day
but not sure when..
but whatever it is..
we hope he'll enjoy his stay and make new friends in this guild

Long Patch, Big News, Reports on Guildmates

is this the longest patch ever?
it's been 15 hours and the patch is not over yet
the maple website isn't working as well
probably everyone's wondering why they can't login
so thousands of maplers are visiting the website
causing a jam to access the website

Alteration in our Guild

After today..
there will be a mass "expellation" of guildmates..
there will be a change in the Jr Master Position

the following guildmates will be expelled
and reasons are stated as well

MrsClaws (level 60 Assassin)
Sara has been inactive for months
there were no signs of leveling up since she joined our guild
and perhaps she has been playing other characters
she is nice and all but really,
there is no point to keep her in our guild

XMrAznSinX (level 44 Assassin)
Ben has been playing his bandit
his assassin is his mule right now
and leaving mules in our guild is not what we are looking for

holyb4nd1t (level 48 Assassin)
Eric, just like his brother (Ben), has been playing his bandit
same thing, this character is just like a mule now
and as i've said..
leaving mules in our guild is not what we want

MidniteFrost (level 45 I/L Wizard)
for your information..
Eddie's i/l wizard was expelled long ago
reason was because he "quitted" ms and we needed space in the guild
Anyway, his main character HolyWhite200, still remains in our guild.

For now,
these people will be out of the guild
Ben and Eric have been cooperative when it comes to defaming for guild penalty
they even helped to defame Kevin even when they are all real-life friends
it's a pity that I have to remove them from the guild..

those who are playing other characters..

will not be tolerated..

I have decided to keep the guild as small as possible
no random people will be invited
unless he/she is a good friend of yours..

Jr Master Position is Vacant now

I'm sad to announce that Cyn will be removing her Priest from our guild
but her bandit will still remain..
no matter what..
she will still be a Jr Master in our hearts..
her Priest may be leaving..
but she's still in-game and u're free to talk to her anytime..

Cyn and I are real-life friends..
and I will still continue to update her about our guild..
she will still continue to visit our guild forums and post messages and stuffs
she won't be too far away from us..
we'll still see her..

I will be choosing the most suitable candidate for the Jr Master position..
and the only two people that has met the basic requirements are..
Slacker999 (Jimmy) and doublaset13 (Avis)

Jimmy's performance in the guild has always been good..
his attendence has always been regular as well
but recently..
due to some issues..
his performance and communication with the guildmates have dropped drastically
and his attendence is very irregular..
he's now only on for trades
and once he's done
he's off

I have always like Avis..
he's very enthusiastic and always trying to keep the guild alive by crapping
sometimes it's annoying yet at times it can be really entertaining
his attendence has always been regular..
he's one of the active members in our guild..
We are actually very surprised that he would stick with us for so long..
even though our guild has become really inactive..
I was expecting that he will leave but up till today..
he hasn't spoken anything to me about leaving the guild..
he's all good and capable to be a Jr Master
however,
we feel that he is not set in being able to lead the guild in a serious way..
he may have the potential
but there's more to learn for sure
Jr Master position may not be offered to him right now
because it will be unfair to others..
however he will be promoted to Senior..

Other Candidates for Jr Master Position

ChocoJo (level 53 Bandit)
she is very well-liked by us
some of you may have some conflicts with her before or some misunderstanding
but I'm sure now,
as a Senior,
she knows how to maintain good relations with her guildmates..
and handle issues in a better way..
she has great potential to be the 2nd-lead in the guild
however,
her attendence is something that we're hoping to see improvement
it's not that she doesn't want to play MS
but she just can't log in sometimes..
besides her attendence..
she also has not reached the basic level requirement to be a Jr Master

Keanaza (level 60 Assassin)
I have personally met Kean since he was level 2x..
throughout these months..
I have noticed significant changes in him.. for the better.
Cyn and I have discussed and have agreed that he is one of the best ones in the guild
however,
just like Avis..
we feel that they have not shown us the great leadership potention
and there is more that they need to learn..
it is not easy to be a Jr Master, let alone being a Master of your own guild..
and yes..
I have high expectations for people who takes up the Jr Master Position
Also,
Kean has not reached the basic level requirement to be a Jr Master
however..
he will be guaranteed a place as a Senior

braveheart28 (level 48 Cleric)
Dennis has always been a good boy in our guild
he's polite, he's helpful and he's generous as well..
however,
we are still monitoring his performance in the guild
because now, he's been playing his spearman more often than his cleric..
his attendence has been good as well
and he gets along well with his guildmates too (i hope)
Dennis is still a young member in our guild
and we definitely can see his potential building up slowly
he may not be qualified to be a Jr Master right now
but as long as ColdFusion survives through without getting disbanded..
he will have a chance to be one day

alfalfadawg (level 66 Fighter)
I've known bobby since I was level 2x
he's really a very nice boy and very helpful
however,
he's a little quiet and lack of communication with his guildmates
we can see that he'll be the next person to get 3rd Job in our guild..
and that makes the Jr Master Position available to him
He will be put into consideration for the post
but lack of enthusiastic to lead the guild..
will not guarantee him a Jr Master Position
we will still continue to monitor his performance..

getting older now..
it's the time of the year..
a celebration of ur birth decades ago.. (lol)

it's our dear jr master's birthday
yes she's strict, she's got a temper and she looks hard on the outside
but..
she is soft on the inside..
but no no..
do not take advantage of that..
or else u won't have a good life in ms..

we wish she'll have a blissful time in ms,
and well as in real life..
i'll be celebrating her birthday with her and other friends on friday..

~The Time has Come~

After waiting for hours,
finally we achieved our goals..
and that is..
to get to level 100 together..

sorry i didn't smile bcs i was busy killing and trying to take a nice screenshot..

well, nothing changes for me..
no new stuffs..

the ones who came to witness our level 100 lvl up.
ihlhi, my training partner..
jimmy, cyn's training partner and the ring tells everything..
avis, our loyal and supportive hermit..
and the rest who wanted to be there but unable to make it..
it's alright.. we understand..
and thanks for the congrats.

*Turning Point*

two friends started playing maplestory in the middle of April, 2006
tonight..
it will be a big turning point for them..
not the regular stages where you get ur 2nd job or 3rd job..
but a new phase where they will begin their life hunting for bosses..


ade (level 99 crusader) and cyn (level 99 priest)
will level tonight..
together


However,
We have to clarify something..

We do not see our levels as competition..
and we are not competiting with each other..

cyn has a goal..
her goal is to reach level 103 to max dispel so that she can go zakum runs..
and my goal..
is to reach as far as i can before i graduate or quit ms..

we're very taken back by the coments made by our guildmates..
during the 5 days where I wasn't on..
I was busy with my school work..
and stopped playing ms for 5 days..
I knew that cyn will catch up to my level..
but it wasn't a big thing to me..
if it was,
i would have come on ms just to train even if i have exams..

first message to me when i came on was..
"ade.. cyn outlvled u.."
other messages were..
"ade.. cyn caught up to ur level"
"ade.. cyn is higher level than u now"
ade this and ade that..

We understand that we have our ranks in our guild..
and many people have this concept that..
"Guild Master must be higher level than Jr Master"
or some stereotypical concepts that..
"boys are superior than girls"

I'm here to address on this matter that..
Cyn and I are not in competitions..
and Guild Master doesn't have to be higher level than Jr Master..
and lastly..
Boys are NOT superior than girls..
We are of equal standings..
boys are talented in their own "boys' ways"
and girls are talented in their own "girls' ways"

I understand that some of you are still undergoing the phase in life where..
"boys must be better than girls" or "girls must be better than boys"
Cyn and I have passed this stage many many years ago..
and you guys too..
will pass this stage one day..

I have been training extremely hard after 5 days of not playing..
cyn couldn't train much because she has exam..
and comments changed..
"cyn.. ade caught up to ur level"

If I'm really in competition with her..
I will not wait for her and just go ahead and level up..
because I'm already at 70% and cyn is only at 3%..
it will be another 8 hours from now before she reaches 90%+
because she's currently sitting for her exam now..

I don't really have a fix goal in ms..
but I'll make this as one of the goal..
to level up at gatekeepers with cyn tonight..
together.

and from then on..
we're on our own..

I hope I've made this clear..
and we do not wish to hear any of those comments anymore

we decided to rest to let our hp recover..
those days.. no mesos for pots.. no chairs to sit anytime we want..
we have to do it the hard way..
feeling bored..
i commented on the ms characters..
they look so cute..

so cyn's hp was full..
she decided to go back to train on snails..
but i feel lazy..

5 minutes later...

she came back with a new shirt..
i was so amazed..
she found a shirt!
well, it was a big deal for us during those days...

and thus..
i decided to hunt for a shirt...

we were both lvl 27..
cyn still using her wooden shield at that time..

the day i got my 2nd job as a fighter..
i trained with cyn and jimmy..
jimmy helped me a lot in training..

i passed my test..
we celebrate.. by having a race..
we had many races..
but each time we will say that "I'M FIRST!!"
so we don't know who is first..
that's why I decided to take SS to prove that I'm first..

Jimmy shouts and F5 "I'M FIRST" but he appears last in my SS
Cyn was running and thinking.. "im winning im winning im winning" but she appears 2nd in my SS
and I...
well.. I have no idea what i was doing..
but yea.. to me I was first..

the funny thing is..
they took SS too..
and it shows that they are first in their computer screen..



lvl 3x together..

from then on..
we don't train together or see each other often..
because of different training places and all..

and today..
our levels are close to each other..
and we start to train together again..
and finally have another SS of us after 60+ levels..


Tonight..
if nothing goes wrong..
we will get to level 100 together..
it's not a big thing for cyn because her goal is to reach level 103..
but at least..
level 100 is kind of an achievement after playing for 11 months..

and since it's a level where we have high possibility of lvling together at the same time..
why not?
